Duality framework for minimal cut sets

General concept

Minimal cut sets are minimal (irreducible) sets of reactions whose removal will block a given network function. Classically, they are computed by indirect methods from elementary flux modes. The duality framework for metabolic networks allows for the enumeration of minimal cut sets directly by finding the elementary modes in the dual network.
