Dynamic multi-species metabolic modeling (DMMM)

General concept

An extension of dynamic FBA framework to model the metabolic interactions between multiple species. DMMM integrates the growth rate of all the species involved as well as production and consumption rates of the metabolites in the environment to predict the dynamics of the metabolite and biomass concentrations in the community. Implemented to characterize the competition between Geobacter and Rhodoferax species
