Minimal substrate and product sets

General concept

Minimal substrate sets are irreducible sets of substrates which are sufficient for the production of a certain combination of products (i.e. minimal media sufficient for biomass production). Minimal product sets are irreducible sets of products which can be synthesised while consuming a certain combination of substrates (e.g. minimal sets of fermentation products while growing on a single carbon source). These are calculated using MILP.
