Network-based enzyme localization

General concept

Localization of metabolic reactions in different compartments is predicted using a parsimony principle of minimizing the number of cross-membrane transporters. Using a set of known reaction localization calls, an MILP problem is solved to minimize the number of reactions and transporters needed to link a known reactions to make known reactions functional with the rest of the network.
