Search for Interaction-Inducing Media (SIM)

General concept

This approach identifies growth conditions for which individual models predict no growth, while pairs of models can make biomass, thereby identifying growth conditions that may support mutualism between microbes. It does this by searching for all possible sets of metabolites that can substitute other metabolites in the medium, and then testing for growth in the community model and the two lone models.
